Super Bowl MVP – Go with Manning to win another Super Bowl MVP

Super Bowl MVP betting odds are giving the nod to a former winner of this award, and here’s why you should not even consider picking anyone else for the MVP.

Peyton Manning won this award back in 2006, when his Indianapolis Colts beat the Chicago Bears on a rainy Miami night. Manning is the biggest name in this year’s Super Bowl, he’s the golden boy of the league (or one of the golden boys), and he has a bigger influence on his team than anyone involved with this game. Manning is favored at -250, ahead of New Orleans’ Drew Brees at +300, and he also beat out Brees in the regular-season MVP award, winning it for a record fourth time. Manning showed how good he was against the Jets, when he figured out how New York was blitzing him, and then proceeded to tear apart their secondary. You also have to factor in the winning team, and I think the Colts are going to win their second Super Bowl in four years. If they’re going to win, Manning will be the guy to take them to the promised land.
